BEETHOVEN

BEETHOVEN

Ludwig van Beethoven, born in Bonn, Germany, lived from 1770 to 1827. His nine symphonies are celebrated for transforming music, serving as a bridge between the orderly compositions of the Classical period and the dramatic, expressive works of the Romantic era. Despite beginning to lose his hearing around the midpoint of his life, Beethoven continued to create many of his renowned pieces during this time.
